How does it work?

Cryotherapy exposes the body to extremely cold temperatures for a short duration, this exposure triggers the body’s natural anti-inflammatory response, constricting blood vessels and reducing blood flow to the treated area. After treatment, blood vessels dilate, increasing circulation and delivering oxygen-rich blood to the area. This process can alleviate muscle pain, boost metabolism, enhance skin health, and improve overall wellness. The cold exposure also stimulates the nervous system, potentially enhancing mood and reducing stress.


You will be guided to your treatment room by one of our BEYOND team and shown through our general protocol. To experience the full effect of Cryotherapy it is advised that you enter the chamber in either your underwear or bring a bathing suit. We supply you with gloves and slippers/socks to ensure your extremities remain safe along with a plush robe as you exit. The session only lasts 3 minutes and then you’re done.

What to expect

Prepare to get cold! When undergoing cryotherapy, you’ll step into the chamber wearing minimal attire but with protective gloves and socks. The temperature will plunge, often below -100°C, for a brief 2-3 minutes. It’s not unusual to shiver and feel the chill linger post-session. However, alongside this deep cold sensation, many people report feeling energetic and exuberant afterward. Your skin might also appear flushed due to the increased circulation. Always remember to hydrate and move gently following the session.

Recommended Usage

Beginners should start with one cryotherapy session per week. Immediate effects might be noticeable after just one session, but for optimal benefits, 2-3 sessions a week are recommended. Individual responses can vary, so it’s important to listen to your body and adjust the frequency as needed.
